in betweener - Candian business language

'Ok so tomorrow we touch base and see what's cooking'

'Have a good one!'

'Let's get in touch and we'll go from there'

'How's things? Crazy or calm?'

'We're booming business'

A phone conversation I heard once:

A: 'Hey buddy, how are you?'
B: 'I'm fine thanks, how are you?
A: 'Soo, how's things?'
B: 'Good man, that's cool. Well, you know, nothing too crazy... ehm..'
A: 'So it's not going crazy, right? Ok ok, that's cool, that's cool. So what's for this week so far?'
B: 'Ehmmm well as I said it's not crazy, you know, not that much, ehh...'
A: 'So your saying it's not so crazy right? That's what you're saying, or no?'
B: 'Yeah yeah, that's true what you're saying, I'm with you'
A: 'Ok, cool man, cool. So, how's for this week so far?'
B: 'Let's see, I'm at about.... let's see... yeah I'm about 1400 now for this week, and 210 in the books.'
A '210 in the books, you say eh?'
B: ' That's right, that's right. 210 in the books and 1400 this week, so far. So nothing too crazy'
A: 'Ok, so how do you think the rest of the week will be? You think it will be crazy?'
B: 'Mwaah, you know, nothing too much, nothing too much...'
A: 'That's cool, that's cool. Alright buddy, I'm gonna run.'
B: Ok men, will you be around?'
A: 'I'm right with you there, right with you men!'
B: 'Ok, soooo, yeah, soooo ehmm, ok. So you're not outta town or some? Ok that's nice. So ehh, let's touch base
tomorrow and see what's cooking, and we'll go from there'
A: 'Ciao, take care'
